She truly is a survivor. It is amazing what incredibly horrible obstacles animals can overcome. Most people would have given up and lost hope.Destiny’s name fits her so well, because it is and always has been in her to be a happy and healthy dog!Thank you Mayday for all that you do! 
Destiny has such an amazing spirit and capacity for love. She is an inspiration to all of us at Mayday and I know she will be the same to everyone who reads her story.

This is amazing!!!  Jesse James was first rescued from a puppy mill by the National Mill Dog Rescue. As stated on their website, overbreeding, inbreeding, minimal veterinary care, poor quality of food and shelter, lack of socialization with humans, overcrowded cages, and the killing of unwanted animals is an all too common occurance in commercial puppy mills. I remember hearing about AZ Sheltie Rescue taking Shy-Low Bleu and the others in. It’s wonderful to see them recognized and to get an update on one of the dogs.
